Main Page
Welcome to the wiki workspace for Home Is Where I Want To Be. This is a primary component in doctoral level research into composing specifically for transmedia. So far, it's been at its best when it comes to worldbuilding -- while composing material for one idea, another one arises and it's a simple matter to drop a link, save the work, and write up a sentence or two for the new page.
So far, this main page has been fairly empty, but now there are some good pages to help fill this space that will give you, whomever you might be, a better sense of what's going on in here.

Synopsis
Home Is Where I Want To Be (HIW) is the story of an adolescent girl, Neyu, who's been sundered from all of her support structures, and must find a way to survive and reach a safe place, and possibly even find family who left home years before.
Setting
Characters
Characters fall into one of three groups: Refugees, Crew, and Passengers. Refugees are escaping the destruction being wrought on the planet Radi by Pertaman forces. Crew are the people who command and operate the tramp freighter Riti. Passengers are those who've booked passage on the Riti. While the Riti isn't actually a passenger ship, it will take on travellers for a modest fee, much like cargo ships do today in the modern world.
