Assumed to be the result of a proto-star cluster whose members hit the ends of their lifespans 3 - 5 billion years ago, the Local Cluster features several stars with rocky planets well in the habitable range. There is some speculation that this arrangement is too coincidental to be considered pure chance, but there is no real evidence supporting deliberate arrangement by any intelligent people or force.
