Somannu is Neyu's mother. Her background is agrarian, but more in line with animal husbandry. Her own family has a dairy farm, but when she moved to live with Hazan he focused mainly on plant crops. Over time, the family farm diversified, and a small herd of goats lived on the homestead, which Neyu learned to tend.
